Role Description
MetaQare is selecting the Top 100 medical specialists in the United Kingdom to participate in Authors of Clinical AI (ACAI) — an international medical collaboration programme in which leading physicians contribute their expertise to the development of structured, evidence-based clinical reasoning models.
This is a professional collaboration, not a traditional employment role.
Participating doctors act as Clinical AI Authors, contributing high-quality clinical logic to support transparent, safe, and auditable medical intelligence for real-world healthcare contexts.
Responsibilities
As a Clinical AI Author, your responsibilities will include:
- Contributing to the design and validation of clinical reasoning models within your specialty.
- Providing structured clinical insights guided by NICE guidelines, evidence-based practice, and UK clinical standards.
- Reviewing anonymised clinical case summaries and taking part in peer-review discussions.
- Collaborating with MetaQare’s scientific and technical teams to ensure accuracy, ethical integrity, and clinical consistency.
- Participating in continuous improvement of the models in line with emerging evidence and updated clinical guidelines.

Requirements
- MBBS, MBChB, or equivalent medical degree.
- GMC-registered specialist (CCT completed).
- Minimum 5 years of independent clinical practice post-specialty training.
- Strong evidence-based clinical reasoning skills.
- Interest in medical innovation, AI, and digital transformation in healthcare.
- Fluent in English.
- Eligible to collaborate as an independent professional within the UK.
