Role Overview

We are seeking a strategic, client-facing consulting leader with deep experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry and a strong background in management consulting, business transformation, and enterprise analytics strategy.

As an Associate Principal in Customer Success, you will serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, helping shape and drive large-scale transformation initiatives across commercial, supply chain, customer, and marketing functions. This role requires the ability to bridge business strategy and data-driven execution – partnering closely with client leadership to identify opportunities, influence decision-making, and deliver measurable business outcomes through AI, analytics, and consulting-led engagements.

You will lead cross-functional teams across global delivery models, support strategic account growth initiatives, and help clients navigate complex business challenges through scalable consulting solutions. The ideal candidate brings a strong consulting mindset, executive presence, and the ability to operate effectively within fast-paced enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to senior client stakeholders, guiding enterprise transformation initiatives across data, analytics, AI, and operational strategy.
  • Build and manage executive-level client relationships while driving long-term partnership growth within the account.
  • Lead consulting engagements focused on solving complex business challenges across revenue growth management, customer analytics, retail execution, supply chain optimization, and demand forecasting.
  • Translate ambiguous business problems into structured strategic recommendations, actionable roadmaps, and scalable analytics solutions.
  • Partner with client and internal leadership teams on engagement planning, solutioning, proposal development, and account expansion opportunities.
  • Lead cross-functional consulting and analytics teams to ensure successful delivery, stakeholder alignment, and measurable business impact.
  • Collaborate with global delivery teams in India to execute large-scale transformation programs through MathCo’s hybrid operating model.
  • Drive executive communication, workshop facilitation, and change management activities across client organizations.
  • Contribute to internal consulting capability development, thought leadership, and CPG industry strategy initiatives.

Key Attributes & Experience

  • 7+ years in analytics, consulting, or strategy roles within the retail or consumer goods industry.
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale transformation programs in areas such as pricing, trade spend, customer segmentation, omnichannel optimization, or supply chain planning.
  • Deep domain knowledge of retail/CPG business models, performance metrics, and seasonal dynamics.
  • Strong technical fluency in data platforms, AI/ML, and cloud technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to grow client relationships, influence leadership, and deliver commercial impact.
  • Experience in pre-sales, proposal development, and thought leadership within the AI/analytics domain.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, analytics, or related field required; advanced degree (MBA, MS) preferred.
