Junior Sous Chef – Premium French Brasserie | Central London | £42,000+

This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong Junior Sous Chef with a background in quality-led London dining and a genuine passion for exceptional produce. Working closely with the senior kitchen team, you will play a key role in delivering high standards across all areas of the operation.

The Concept

A vibrant, high-volume brasserie inspired by French and New York dining culture, with a menu leaning toward the French/Mediterranean style. The kitchen delivers a mix of:

  • A la carte service
  • Events menus
  • Canapés

The site currently caters for around 100 covers (up to 140 at peak) and has strong potential for further growth.

The Role

As Junior Sous Chef, you will:

  • Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen
  • Help lead and motivate the kitchen team during service
  • Ensure high standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation
  • Assist with prep, service, and kitchen organisation across all sections
  • Support stock control, ordering, and minimising wastage
  • Help maintain cleanliness, food safety, and kitchen compliance standards
  • Contribute ideas toward menu development and seasonal dishes

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Junior Sous Chef in a high-end kitchen
  • Background in high-quality London restaurants
  • Passion for fresh, seasonal, product-led cooking
  • Strong work ethic and ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
  • A positive, hands-on approach with good communication skills
  • Experience with high-volume service and events catering is advantageous
  • Ambitious and eager to develop within a quality-driven kitchen
