We are currently seeking multiple experienced Resident Engineers / Civil Site Engineers for a major National Grid 400kV substation project in Cilfynydd.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a long-term National Grid infrastructure project working within a live transmission environment.
Candidates must have previous National Grid substation experience and hold current NG Persons authorisation.
Key Responsibilities:Setting out line and level using various surveying equipmentAssisting with constructability reviews alongside the civil site teamRaising Technical Queries (TQs)Acting as Document Controller for all civil drawingsAssisting the site team with obtaining quotes and raising ordersCompleting and managing As Built drawingsSupporting day-to-day site engineering activities on a live National Grid project
Essential Requirements:Previous experience working on National Grid substation projectsCurrent NG Persons authorisationManual Handling certificationStrong setting out experience using surveying equipmentKnowledge of National Grid Technical Specifications (NGTS)Ability to manage civil drawing control and technical documentationStrong communication and organisational skills
