My client is a leading provider of innovative IT solutions, specialising in data cabling and IT infrastructure services. They are seeking a dynamic and experienced IT Data Cabling Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and successful completion of IT data cabling projects. The role requires strong leadership, excellent organisational skills, and a solid understanding of data cabling and IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing projects in a fast‑paced environment, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and manage data cabling projects from inception to completion.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Oversee the installation, testing, and maintenance of data cabling systems.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and client specifications.
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
- Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders.
- Manage project documentation and ensure accurate record‑keeping.
- Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring high performance and motivation.
- Develop relationships with existing and new clients.
Requirements
Experience in delivering Data Cabling Projects in the Enterprise market
- Experience in project management, preferably in data cabling or a related industry.
- Good knowledge of data cabling standards, protocols and best practices.
- Excellent organisational, multitasking and time‑management skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools.
- Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to work with an engineering resource on multiple sites at any given time.
