Nurse Consultant (Acute Oncology)

Job Overview

Lead nursing and other non-medical practice across the Acute Oncology Service. Work with Matrons, Lead Cancer Nurse’s (LCN) and clinical educators, supporting educational development for nursing and the multi-professional workforce across the Acute Oncology Service.

Responsibilities

• Where necessary in the absence of Matron or Deputy Nurse Director, provide operational support within the Oncology Service.
• Provide leadership advice and support on clinical governance issues, including clinical and non-clinical risk assessment and management.
