Job Overview – Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer
My client is a leading manufacturer of bespoke equipment operating in the aerospace and medical industries. They are looking for a highly motivated Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team in their facility based just outside of the Tewkesbury area.
Key Responsibilities – Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer
- Designing and developing mechanical engineering solutions to deliver new and existing projects.
- Supporting manufacturing operations through fault diagnosis and developing necessary solutions.
- Becoming proficient with mechanical design and simulation tools.
- Developing skills in the application of mathematical principles to solve engineering problems.
- Giving advice on the best mechanical solutions, considering cost and timescales, while delivering maximum performance and reliability.
Key Experience – Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer
- Educated to Degree level in a Mechanical Engineering discipline.
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles.
- A working knowledge of engineering calculations.
- Proficient with design software, ideally Autodesk Inventor.
- Experience in design and manufacturing would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of basic electronic principles is desirable.
