Radar Systems Electronics Engineer – Defence & Security

Our client, a prominent entity in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking an Electronics Systems Engineer to join their Maritime Services team in Great Baddow or Cowes. This is a contracted role where you will be required to work onsite for 4 days a week over a 6-month period.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining electronics radar systems
• Conducting detailed hardware engineering tasks to support project deliverables
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure alignment with project goals
• Analysing system requirements and ensuring compliance with relevant standards
• Testing and validating electronic systems to guarantee performance and reliability
• Contributing to technical documentation and reporting for project updates
• Ensuring adherence to security protocols and standards

Job Requirements:

• Experience with Radar Systems
• Strong background in electronic systems engineering within the Defence & Security sector
• Proficiency in system design, development, and validation
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
