Electrical and Mechanical Process Engineer (Projects) – Full Time

Location: Working at Skegness and Louth Sites (based at one)

Salary: £44,000 – £48,500 P.A. (DEPENDING ON SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.00am – 5.00pm or 8.00am – 4.00pm

Responsibilities

You will be a bridge between Production, Engineering and Research and Development teams, ensuring that processes for manufacturing and new products are both efficient and reliable. This will be a blend of project management, technical expertise, and customer-centric thinking. You will need to be both strategic and hands‑on, managing various aspects of product development and manufacturing processes.

  • You will be responsible for ensuring machinery purchased or modified is safe to operate and legally compliant.
  • Work closely with machinery suppliers or internal colleagues to prove process capability on new or modified machinery commissioning.
  • Adopt effective data‑driven problem solving utilising a structured approach (e.g., Micronclean 5C or Ford’s 8D).
  • Contribute to capital spend process demonstrating requirements through data and predicted benefits.

Qualifications

  • HND/HNC qualified within a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent.
  • PC skills including CAD, modelling software, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • Electrical bias or additional electrical experience beneficial.
  • Understanding of steam systems beneficial.
  • Pneumatics experience beneficial.
  • PLC control systems knowledge.
