Role Description

• Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for carrying out PPM and reactive work across electrical and mechanical systems.
• Supporting mechanical maintenance, fault finding, and repair on electrical systems.
• Ensuring all work is completed in line with health and safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with the Engineering Team and Staff on site.
• Have the ability/skills to make essential repairs and adjustments to plant and equipment to ensure that cooking/production/packing is not compromised.
• Promote a Continuous Improvement Culture throughout the site.

Qualifications

• Experience with steam, three‑phase electrical systems including inverters and PLCs, compressed air, and industrial refrigeration.
• Mechanical experience such as bearings (not all of the above must be covered).
• Multi‑skilled, time‑served engineers with suitable electrical/engineering qualifications.
• Food industry experience is an advantage.
• Can‑do attitude and flexibility.
