A respected multi-disciplinary construction consultancy is seeking an experienced Associate Façade Consultant to lead and develop their Northern façade consultancy offering from their Manchester office. This is an excellent opportunity for an established Associate Façade Consultant with strong technical expertise in façade systems, cladding remediation and fire safety compliance to step into a senior leadership role within a growing national team.
The successful Associate Façade Consultant will play a key role in overseeing regional project delivery, mentoring consultants and supporting the continued growth of the façade and fire safety division.
The Associate Façade Consultant’s Role
The appointed Associate Façade Consultant will lead façade and cladding remediation projects across high-risk residential and mixed-use developments throughout the North of England and wider UK.
Responsibilities will include:
Leading and managing a regional façade consultancy teamOverseeing façade remediation and external wall compliance projectsManaging technical reviews, contractor audits and design assessmentsSupporting Building Safety Act and PAS9980 compliance mattersCarrying out site inspections and quality assurance reviewsWorking closely with project management, surveying and fire consultancy teamsManaging client relationships and supporting business development activityProviding technical leadership across cladding replacement schemes and live remediation works
The Associate Façade Consultant
The successful Associate Façade Consultant should ideally have:
10+ years’ experience within façade consultancy, engineering or constructionStrong knowledge of cladding systems, façade design and remediation worksExperience working on high-risk buildings and Gateway processesExcellent understanding of Building Regulations and fire safety legislationMembership with a relevant professional body such as RICS, CABE, IFE or similarStrong commercial awareness and leadership capabilityExcellent report writing and stakeholder management skills
