About The Role
The Technical Administrator’s role is to provide support to the Executive Administration team and Administration Manager to complete the administration requirements within their unit. This role involves supporting individuals and technical teams by providing efficient and effective administrative support. The Technical Administrator demonstrates strong organisational skills, effective time management, and the confidence to challenge when necessary. Being driven, proactive, and taking initiative is crucial.
Responsibilities
- Administrative duties consisting of audio typing long reports, emails, scanning and photocopying.
- Collaborating with technical staff to ensure project deliverables are completed on time, within SLAs.
- Liaising with the company’s clients and ensuring high quality customer care.
- Organising all project related paperwork.
- Monitoring the progress of a project and promoting updates from technical employees within agreed SLAs.
- Sorting and publishing incoming and outgoing project related emails.
- Ensuring all enquiries are managed to agreed SLAs.
- Publishing to and updating the Business Management System (BMS).
- Answering telephone calls and taking clear and concise messages.
- Arranging appointments for site visits, updating the unit outlook calendar.
- Supporting Senior and Executive administrators.
- Complying with the company’s administrative, personnel procedures and Health & Safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Expert knowledge of GSP administration processes and duties.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Suite.
- Experience handling a broad range of customers on the telephone, providing high‑quality customer care.
- Previous experience in an administrative role.
- Experience working with individuals across departments and liaising with external customers.
- Fast and efficient typing skills.
- Enthusiastic, committed, and a fast learner with experience in a busy environment.
- Computer literate with fast, precise typing skills.
- Good time management, solid organisational skills, and ability to prioritise a varied workload.
- Ability to work on own initiative while understanding the importance of working well within a team.
- Strong communication skills – both verbal and written.
