Litigation Paralegal
Location: Belfast Salary: £25,000 – £30,000 + excellent benefits
A well-established and highly regarded law firm is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join its busy and expanding Litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated legal professional to gain hands-on experience across a broad range of litigation matters within a supportive and professional environment.
The successful candidate will work closely with solicitors on a varied caseload including personal injury, road traffic accidents, employer liability, public liability, and commercial litigation matters. The role offers strong career development opportunities and exposure to high-quality legal work.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting solicitors with the management of litigation files from instruction to conclusion
- Drafting legal correspondence and court documents
- Liaising with clients, counsel, insurers, medical professionals, and third parties
- Preparing briefs and bundles for court hearings
- Conducting legal research and reviewing case documentation
- Managing case files and ensuring compliance with deadlines and procedures
- Supporting the team with general administrative and case management duties
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience within a litigation/paralegal role preferred
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- Ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise effectively
- Professional, proactive, and able to work well within a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and case management systems
