Your new role
You will join the Head Office finance team as a Management Accountant, taking responsibility for delivering accurate and timely financial information to support business decisions. This is a varied role where you will work closely with senior management and wider teams to drive performance and continuous improvement.Key responsibilities will include:
- Producing monthly management accounts and annual financial statements
- Preparing budgets and conducting variance analysis
- Presenting financial reports and insights to senior management
- Reviewing and improving accounting systems and processes
- Liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Supporting and coordinating with finance support staff and administration teams
- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies
- Contributing to ongoing improvements across the finance function
- Supporting ad hoc financial tasks and reporting requirements
What you’ll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will be a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with solid post-qualification experience within a finance function. You will be confident working both independently and as part of a team, with strong analytical and communication skills.You should also have:
- Ideally 3-4 years’ post-qualification experience
- Strong technical accounting knowledge
- The ability to analyse data and present clear insights to stakeholders
- Confidence to take initiative and solve problems effectively
- Strong IT skills and familiarity with accounting systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
