Your new role

You will join the Head Office finance team as a Management Accountant, taking responsibility for delivering accurate and timely financial information to support business decisions. This is a varied role where you will work closely with senior management and wider teams to drive performance and continuous improvement.Key responsibilities will include:

  • Producing monthly management accounts and annual financial statements
  • Preparing budgets and conducting variance analysis
  • Presenting financial reports and insights to senior management
  • Reviewing and improving accounting systems and processes
  • Liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Supporting and coordinating with finance support staff and administration teams
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies
  • Contributing to ongoing improvements across the finance function
  • Supporting ad hoc financial tasks and reporting requirements

What you’ll need to succeed

To succeed in this role, you will be a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with solid post-qualification experience within a finance function. You will be confident working both independently and as part of a team, with strong analytical and communication skills.You should also have:

  • Ideally 3-4 years’ post-qualification experience
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge
  • The ability to analyse data and present clear insights to stakeholders
  • Confidence to take initiative and solve problems effectively
  • Strong IT skills and familiarity with accounting systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
