HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver – Temp to PermMonday to Friday | Local & Regional DeliveriesWe are recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver on behalf of our client in the Torbay area. Deliveries could be local or regional, with long days involved.This is a temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate.The Role: Delivering products to Trade and Direct customers locally and regionallyEnsuring loads are safely secured and deliveries completed safely and on timeChecking goods with customers and completing delivery paperworkManual handling and some heavy lifting involvedMaintaining vehicle cleanliness and managing tachograph records in line with legislationFollowing all company health & safety proceduresWorking alone or as part of a dual-manned crewMonday to Friday with start times from 02:00 dependant on destination.Occasional nights out required (overnight bonus paid) Requirements: Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licenceDigital tachograph card and full DQC/CPC cardPrevious Class 1 driving experience essentialReliable, flexible, and able to work independentlyHappy to drive any vehicle from 3.5T – 26T dependant on the days load.Positive “can do” attitude What’s on Offer: Temp-to-perm positionOngoing Monday to Friday workFrom £35,50048hr weekOvernight bonusUniform and good working conditions providedImmediate start available for the right candidate.
