We are working with a leading digital transformation consultancy delivering high-impact public sector programmes across central government, healthcare, environment and wider critical services. This is a key opportunity for a Senior Delivery Manager to take ownership of complex, multi-team agile delivery that directly supports large-scale national transformation.

You will lead end-to-end delivery across multiple workstreams, ensuring teams are aligned, delivery is controlled, and outcomes are delivered to time, cost and quality. Working closely with senior stakeholders, product leaders and technical teams, you will bring structure, clarity and momentum in fast-moving environments where priorities often shift.

Alongside delivery ownership, you will support and develop junior delivery professionals, contribute to improving delivery standards across the organisation, and help build a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple agile teams and align delivery to outcomes and priorities
  • Maintain strong governance across RAID, reporting, dependencies and plans

  • Support continuous improvement and delivery best practice
  • Mentor and develop junior members of the delivery function

About You

  • Exposure to GDS environments, bid writing and SoW creation
  • Confident operating with senior stakeholders in high-pressure environments
  • Strong understanding of agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
  • Experienced in governance, risks and dependency management
  • Strong communicator with excellent organisational and leadership skills
  • Comfortable working in ambiguity and changing priorities
