Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Project Manager role based in Central London, Kent & outskirts of London. The Project Manager will oversee ductwork and ventilation projects from initiation to completion, ensuring that scope, schedule, budget, and quality targets are met. Responsibilities include planning project timelines, coordinating resources and subcontractors, and managing procurement, expediting, and logistics for materials and equipment. The role involves regular site visits, inspections, and progress reviews to monitor installation quality, resolve issues, and manage risks. The Project Manager will also liaise with clients, internal teams, and suppliers, prepare project reports, and support continuous improvement of processes and procedures.
Qualifications
- Strong project delivery capabilities, including Project Management skills and experience managing multiple projects or a single large project in a galvanised & fire rated ductwork .
- Experience with coordinating to ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and documentation.
- Knowledge of Inspection practices and quality control processes related to installation and site activities.
- Experience in Logistics Management, including coordination of deliveries, site access, and scheduling with suppliers and site teams.
- Proven ability to interpret drawings and specifications, and coordinate with design, manufacturing, and installation teams.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with clients and suppliers.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with project management and office software (e.g., Microsoft Project or equivalent, Microsoft Office suite).
- Relevant qualification in engineering, construction management, building services, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Preferably NVQ L6 & Black CSCS Card.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices on construction sites.
