Reservations Manager – New Opening | Boutique 5★ Country House Hotel

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Reservations Manager to join the opening team of a boutique 5-star country house hotel. This role will be central to establishing a seamless and highly personalised reservations experience across both rooms and restaurant bookings ahead of launch.

Set within picturesque countryside surroundings, the hotel will deliver luxury hospitality with an intimate and guest-focused approach. The Reservations Manager will play a key role in maximising revenue, enhancing the guest journey, and ensuring every reservation is handled with precision and care.

What the Role Involves

  • Managing all room reservations operations for the hotel
  • Overseeing restaurant reservation enquiries and coordinating closely with the F&B team
  • Building and implementing reservations procedures and service standards pre-opening
  • Ensuring all guest enquiries are handled professionally, efficiently, and with exceptional attention to detail
  • Maximising room occupancy and revenue through effective yield and upselling strategies
  • Monitoring booking trends, pace reports, and forecasting performance
  • Maintaining strong communication with Front Office, Sales, and Restaurant teams
  • Managing online travel agents, booking platforms, and distribution channels

What is Required

  • Previous experience in a Reservations Manager or senior reservations role within a luxury hotel environment
  • Pre-opening experience highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of revenue awareness and reservations systems
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A proactive and detail-oriented approach with strong commercial awareness
  • Ability to manage multiple booking streams in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working with PMS and reservations platforms
  • A genuine passion for guest service and luxury hospitality
