Rate: £200 – £210 per day (CIS Payments)
Job Type: Contract
We are currently seeking Electricians to carry out EICR testing, inspection, and remedial works within a block of privately owned rented flats in Reading.
In this role, you will be responsible for completing 5-6 EICRs per day across a total of 199 flats, followed by testing of 9 communal areas. The ideal candidate will be confident working independently, producing accurate certification, and carrying out remedial works where required.

Carry out EICR testing within residential flatsComplete daily test & inspection reports accuratelyUndertake remedial works where requiredEnsure all works comply with current regulations and safety standardsMaintain a professional approach in occupied properties
Requirements for the Electrician
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)City & Guilds 2391 / 2394 & 2395 (Inspection & Testing) – DesirableProven experience in EICRs and residential testingOwn tools and testing equipment preferredAbility to meet daily targets
