Role Description
This is a contract role for a Chartered Psychologist-Couples Therapist. The primary responsibilities include providing therapy to couples, conducting psychological assessments, and creating effective treatment plans tailored to clients’ needs. Additional duties include maintaining accurate clinical records and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care. This is a hybrid role based in Greater London, allowing for a combination of in-clinic and work-from-home options.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Psychology, Counseling, and Mental Health practices
- Experience in Psychological Assessment and creating evidence-based treatment plans
- Knowledge of Medicine as it applies to mental health and therapy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with diverse client populations
- Registration or accreditation with a recognized professional body (e.g., HCPC or BPS)
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychology
- Previous experience in couples therapy is required
- Training in Behavioural Couples Therapy is desirable
- Ability to work independently and in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
