Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in London for a Sales Director – Security & Facilities Management. The Sales Director will lead the development and execution of sales strategies for security and facilities services, including identifying new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and overseeing the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation and close. The role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and partners, collaborating with operations and service delivery teams to ensure solutions align with client needs, and monitoring performance against revenue and margin targets. The Sales Director will manage and mentor the sales team, establish clear objectives and KPIs, and provide regular reporting and forecasting to senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling and B2B sales strategies
- Responsible for delivering SQLs from various industries to the Regional Director to scope prospects and submit proposals
- Establish new business relationships, and continually follow up with lapsed leads
- Clearly articulate the value proposition of our offerings to potential clients
- Create and manage prospects using CRM tools to rack and document sales activities, ensuring accurate reporting and analysis
- Meet and exceed targets set by senior management
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven expertise in Sales and Sales Operations, including pipeline management, forecasting, and closing complex service contracts.
- Strong BD skills, with experience identifying new markets, building partnerships, and expanding service offerings in security and/or facilities management.
- Effective team management capabilities, including leading, coaching, and motivating sales professionals to achieve individual and team targets.
- Experience in security, facilities management, or related services, preferably at a senior or director level.
- Experience in B2B sales and client prospecting
- Commercially astute with proven cold calling skills and experience
- Knowledge of CRM, Microsoft Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to effectively connect with prospects and senior leadership in various sectors to understand their unique requirements and establish trust
- The ability to analyse customer needs, and sales data to adapt strategies and identify opportunities within the industry
