Join our East Kent community drug and alcohol service as a Day Programme Recovery Worker based in Dover, East Kent, working part time, 14 hours per week, and help people build sustainable recovery through our structured Day Programme based on the 12 Step approach.

Were looking for a compassionate, motivated and resilient individual to support adults accessing treatment services across East Kent. This is a varied and rewarding role combining case management, group facilitation and one-to-one support within a community-based recovery setting.

What Youll Be Doing

  • Delivering structured recovery interventions in both face-to-face and online settings
  • Managing a caseload of service users engaging with the Day Programme
  • Facilitating daily group sessions and 1:1 interventions
  • Completing assessments, psychometrics and supporting admissions into the programme
  • Promoting the Day Programme across East Kent and working closely with local recovery teams
  • Supporting individuals to build positive recovery pathways and achieve transformational change
  • Maintaining accurate case records and ensuring compliance with service standards

What Were Looking For

  • Experience working within substance misuse, mental health, recovery or community support services
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Confidence facilitating groups and supporting individuals with complex needs
  • Passion for recovery-focused work and empowering others
  • Ability to work flexibly, including occasional evenings/weekends if required
