Home Based with Extensive Travel Across London, Kent & Surrey

(with future travel to additional locations as the service expands)

Are you passionate about housing, tenancy sustainment and supporting people with complex needs to secure stable accommodation?

Were looking for an experienced and motivated Team Leader to lead our growing Private Rented Sector Service (PRSS) across London, Kent and Surrey. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a dynamic team, build strong landlord partnerships and help shape a service that changes lives.

Youll lead the day-to-day delivery of the service, ensuring high-quality support and positive housing outcomes for clients with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support a multi-disciplinary housing team
  • Oversee referrals, assessments and accommodation placements
  • Manage complex cases and provide operational cover when required
  • Build strong relationships with landlords, local authorities and partner agencies
  • Support tenancy sustainment and resettlement pathways
  • Monitor KPIs, service performance and contractual compliance
  • Drive service improvement and support future growth opportunities
  • Ensure safeguarding, compliance and quality standards are consistently met

Were looking for someone who can balance operational leadership with compassion, partnership working and a solutions-focused approach.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Experience supporting individuals with complex needs, including homelessness, offending behaviour, substance misuse or criminal justice backgrounds
  • Strong knowledge of the private rented sector and tenancy sustainment
  • Experience managing or supervising staff teams
  • Ability to build effective partnerships across multiple agencies
  • Understanding of welfare benefits, Universal Credit and housing affordability
  • Strong organisational, communication and IT skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines

Desirable

  • CIH Level 4 qualification (or willingness to work towards this)
  • Management qualification or working towards
  • Experience managing services across multiple locations
