Salary: Academy Scale PO1. Actual salary £37,626.20. Required: ASAP. Contract Type: Permanent, Term time only, full time (5 days p/w). Location: Swiss Cottage, London Borough of Camden, NW3 3AQ.

About the role

The UCL Academy is seeking an approachable, motivated, conscientious and passionate individual to join our team and lead the strategic delivery of our careers education, information, advice and guidance (CEIAG) programme across the school, and coordinate our strong and evolving partnership with University College London (UCL).

You will be at the forefront of preparing students for their futures – from university admissions to work placements – while managing high‑impact programmes, events and initiatives that reflect the Academy’s ethos of academic excellence and opportunity for all.

Key duties

  • Lead the development and delivery of a high‑quality careers education programme that meets the Gatsby Benchmarks.
  • Organise and manage careers events including practice interviews, fairs, trips and lectures.
  • Build and sustain links with employers, universities and external stakeholders to enrich student experiences.
  • Coordinate all aspects of the UCL partnership – including mentoring programmes, lectures and volunteering – ensuring mutual benefit and alignment with school priorities.
  • Advise senior leaders and Governors on careers provision and contribute to policy and strategy development.
