Experience Profile•Candidates will be assessed on depth of experience in automation, cloud, and CI/CD. Evidence must be demonstrable and aligned to real delivery outcomes.•Proven track record as a Network / Infrastructure Engineer within large-scale enterprise environments•Experience delivering engineering and build work, not purely operations or support•Ability to contribute immediately with minimal ramp-up•Comfortable working across multiple workstreams and priorities•Experience in regulated or complex environments is advantageous•We are seeking a true network/infrastructure engineer with a NetDevOps mindset and demonstrable hands-on capability across automation and cloud delivery.
Essential Skills & ExperienceEnterprise Networking•Strong hands-on experience with BGP and OSPF in complex enterprise environments•Proven ability to design and implement secure, resilient network architectures•Deep understanding of enterprise and hybrid network patternsSecurity & Firewalls•Extensive experience with Palo Alto firewalls•Strong capability in policy design across on-prem and cloud•Solid understanding of Zero Trust networking principlesData Centre & Architecture•Experience with VXLAN, EVPN, VRF segmentation, multi-site fabrics•Familiarity with vendors such as Arista or equivalent•Load balancing experience (e.g. F5 BIG-IP)•NetDevOps, Automation & Cloud (Critical)Candidates must demonstrate proven, hands-on delivery experience (not theoretical or exposure only) in:•Network automation using Python and/or Ansible•Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or equivalent)•Working with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitLab CI/CD) to deploy infrastructure into cloud environments•Designing and implementing hybrid cloud networking solutions•Strong practical experience with at least one major cloud provider (Azure, AWS, or OCI)Nice to Have•Aruba Central / ClearPass•SD-WAN technologies•Cloud-delivered WLAN / WiFi solutions•Experience modernising legacy network environments
