Female PA Support Required Support with Household Tasks, Emotional Support. Ripley, NG-DCC-001.

Job Description

The individual requiring support has various health conditions, including fibromyalgia, severe sight impairment, epilepsy, anxiety and depression. Because of these conditions they often experience mood fluctuations. The PA would need to be understanding, patient, and able to provide gentle encouragement while helping the individual set goals to reach their long‑term aims.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide consistent emotional support and companionship, building a trusting and positive relationship.
• Offer encouragement, active listening, and reassurance to support emotional wellbeing and confidence.
• Assist with keeping household tasks on schedule, including cleaning and maintaining a comfortable and safe living environment, following a recent deep clean.
• Support cooking and meal preparation.
• Encourage independence and involvement wherever possible, supporting the development of social and people skills through shared activities, conversation, and gentle guidance.
• Support pet care, including feeding and cleaning the cages for one cat and three guinea pigs.
• Help the individual pursue long‑term community engagement goals such as spending time outdoors, enjoying nature, gardening, and attending activities like swimming, thereby promoting physical and mental wellbeing.
• Begin support slowly to build relationship and rapport with the PA.

Compensation

5 hours per week at £13.50 per hour for an employed PA.
