Endoscopy Decontamination Technician

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Endoscopy Decontamination Technician to join the multidisciplinary team in a dynamic and forward‑thinking unit. Training and full induction will be provided.
In this role you will reprocess endoscopy instruments and provide high quality support to registered nurses, the multidisciplinary team, and patients. You will demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills, a strong sense of initiative, and ability to prioritise workloads in a demanding, constantly changing environment. As a team player you will remain self‑motivated and maintain composure under pressure.
The unit delivers patient‑centred care for gastroscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy, EMR, Spyglass, ERCP and bronchoscopy procedures.
Person Specification
Knowledge, training and experience
- Basic computer experience
- Knowledge of endoscopes
Skills
- Ability to communicate in written form
- Ability to work as part of a team and as an independent worker
- Able to carry out assigned tasks with fine motor movements
