Depot Engineering Manager – Erith
Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week.

We are looking to strengthen our engineering team with a manager to supervise the Powered Access Service Engineers at our Erith depot. The role involves leading repair, refurbishment, and maintenance of the powered access fleet, ensuring all requirements for repairs and maintenance are completed safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include providing technical assistance and support to engineers and customers, estimating repairs, fault finding and diagnostics, reading electrical and hydraulic drawings, keeping the fleet compliant and ready for hire, managing the team and prioritising work, and supporting ESG strategy.
What we need from you
- CAP registered or minimum 5 years experience in the powered access industry
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience working with Niftylift, Skyjack, Genie, Haulotte and JLG machines
- Experience estimating repairs with a keen eye for detail
- Fault finding and diagnostics experience
- Ability to read electrical and hydraulic drawings and understand both systems
- Responsibility for keeping the fleet compliant and ready for hire
- Time‑management skills to effectively prioritise work for the team
- Ability to support the business unit/team in delivering our ESG strategy
