Civil Design Engineer Water / Infrastructure Projects UK Wide | Hybrid Working Permanent or Contract Want to work on major water and wastewater infrastructure projects that make a real environmental impact? We’re recruiting Civil Design Engineers at all levels to support a major UK water investment programme delivering treatment works, pipelines, pumping stations and wider infrastructure projects. You’ll work within a collaborative engineering team delivering sustainable, low-carbon solutions across clean water and wastewater schemes from feasibility through to detailed design and construction support. Responsibilities Civil design for water and wastewater infrastructure projectsHydraulic design for pressure and gravity pipelinesPipeline, chamber and associated infrastructure designTechnical documentation and design supportFeasibility, optioneering and detailed design activitiesDesign risk assessments and CDM supportCollaboration with multidisciplinary engineering teamsSupporting sustainable and innovative engineering solutions Requirements Degree, HND or equivalent in Civil or Structural EngineeringCivil design experience within infrastructure, utilities or water sectorsKnowledge of British Standards and EurocodesExperience with pipeline or hydraulic designStrong communication and stakeholder engagement skillsUnderstanding of Health & Safety and CDM principles Desirable Water or wastewater sector experienceDesign & Build project experienceICE or IStructE membership or working towards chartershipExperience with digital design / 3D modelling tools What’s on Offer?
