Sporting Sensations delivers high-quality provision for primary-aged children, focused on building confidence, character and community. As we continue to grow our wider curriculum offer, we are looking for an experienced and passionate Forest School Leader to join our team.
The Role
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Forest School Leader to deliver engaging outdoor learning sessions within a primary school in Bath.
You will be responsible for planning and delivering:
Whole class forest school sessions
Small group interventions
1:1 targeted support
All sessions should reflect child-led learning, exploration, and personal development through outdoor experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high-quality Forest School sessions
Create a safe, engaging and inclusive outdoor environment
Adapt sessions to meet a range of needs and abilities
Support children’s social, emotional and physical development
Carry out dynamic risk assessments and follow safeguarding procedures
Represent Sporting Sensations professionally within schools
Requirements (Essential)
Enhanced DBS (on the update service or willing to obtain)
Public Liability Insurance
Experience working with primary-aged children
Ability to confidently lead groups and manage behaviour effectively
Strong organisational and communication skills
Experience working within school settings
Experience supporting children with additional needs
Full UK driving licence and access to transport
Pay & Agreement
£25 – £30 per hour (depending on experience and responsibilities)
Self-employed role under a white-label agreement
Minimum 1 full day per week, with opportunities to increase hours across other schools and holiday provision
