Job Description:

About the Role

Belfast’s maritime infrastructure runs deep — the city’s port remains one of the most operationally active in the British Isles, handling significant volumes of freight, ferry traffic, and offshore support activity across the Irish Sea and beyond. We’re recruiting a North Sea Operations Assistant to support logistics and materials handling for offshore installations, based out of the Belfast area.

It’s a straightforward role with a solid structure behind it — and if you’re used to working hard in a practical environment, the transition to offshore logistics is more straightforward than most people expect.

Terms of Employment

The monthly rate for this position sits between £4,800 and £6,200, incorporating your base salary, offshore living allowance, and any performance-related additions. Rotation is a fixed 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off — you’ll know your schedule well in advance and can plan your time at home accordingly.

Accommodation and all meals are fully covered during your offshore hitch. Travel from Belfast to your designated installation is coordinated and covered — you won’t be left to sort that yourself.

Full training is provided for all new starters. If you haven’t worked offshore before, that’s not a problem.

Responsibilities

Handling the receipt, inspection, and storage of technical equipment and operational suppliesSupporting the preparation and dispatch of materials for offshore deploymentAssisting with vessel loading and offloading under the supervision of the logistics leadMaintaining stock records and contributing to accurate inventory managementFollowing all site safety procedures and reporting any hazards or discrepancies promptly

Your Background

We’re not looking for an offshore CV. We’re looking for someone dependable — someone who shows up, follows instructions, and takes the work seriously. Previous experience in warehousing, manufacturing, construction, haulage, or port-side work all transfers well to this environment. You’ll need to be physically fit, comfortable being away from home for 14 consecutive days, and prepared to work in an environment where safety compliance isn’t optional.

Certification Requirements

OSR-1 Validation: Before progressing to project placement, all candidates must complete the OSR-1 (Offshore Safety Readiness) online assessment. This is the first step in our selection process and is mandatory for all applicants. It can be completed online as part of your application.

BOSIET Certification: Candidates who move through the selection process successfully will be fully sponsored for BOSIET training — practical offshore safety certification covering emergency response, firefighting awareness, and survival procedures. Arranged and funded entirely by the company.

Applying

Applications are submitted through our official recruitment portal. Follow the instructions carefully and make sure all sections are completed — incomplete applications will slow down your progress through the process.
