We’re
- looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Deputy Manager to support the
- day-to-day running of the nursery, lead and inspire the team, and help ensure
- the highest standards of care, learning, and compliance. You’ll work closely
- with the Nursery Manager to create a positive environment for children,
- families, and staff.
This is a
- full-time role, 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Key
- Responsibilities:
· Ensure the safety and wellbeing ofevery child, staff, parent, and visitor at all times.· Understand and ensure that therequirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS are met throughout thenursery.· Assist in managing the acceptance andadministration of medication and ensure care plans are thorough and up to datefor children or staff with health conditions.· Ensure that all children receivestimulating and purposeful experiences, environments and resources that areappropriate to their age and stage of development.· Promote respect and credibility forthis position through effective communication skills, impartiality, andconsistency.· Inspire staff team with creativeideas and new challenges with aim to achieve outstanding practice.· Undertake any other duties to ensurethe smooth running of the nursery and safety and wellbeing of children, staff,
and families
- Duties and
· Full and relevant Level 3 in
- Childcare qualification – Essential
- · Over 1 years’ experience of working
- in Early Years – Essential
- · Sound knowledge of the statutory
- framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements – Essential
- · Over 1 years’ experience of working
- in a management position – Desirable.
- · Level 5 qualification in Childcare
- and/or Management and Leadership – Desirable
- · Experience of successfully passing an
- Ofsted inspection to good or outstanding – Desirable.
