A great opportunity to join a busy production environment as a Shift Maintenance Engineer, supporting the smooth running of industrial roasting and packing machinery.
Working across a rotating three‑shift pattern, you’ll carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance, respond to breakdowns and help drive continuous improvement across the site. This role suits someone hands‑on, proactive and confident working in a fast‑moving manufacturing setting.
Role & Responsibilities:
Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on production machinery, including electrical fault‑finding and repairsWork closely with the engineering team to keep plant assets running efficiently and support continuous improvementRespond quickly to equipment stoppages, implementing fixes and supporting modifications to machinery and processesComplete routine PPM checks, recalibrate equipment and replace parts in line with maintenance schedulesPerform general site maintenance, ensuring high standards of safety, hygiene and equipment presentationKnowledge, Skills & Experience:
Strong electrical fault‑finding skills, with experience of PLC‑controlled systemsMechanical experienceConfident working under pressure with solid problem‑solving abilityAble to work independently as well as part of a team, with a proactive approach to learningComfortable using digital platforms and adaptable to changing workloads and shift patterns Benefits:
