Are you a passionate Maths Teacher looking to join a thriving and high-achieving secondary school from September 2026?

KPI Education is working in partnership with a flourishing and highly respected secondary school in the Royal Borough of Greenwich to recruit an outstanding Maths Teacher for a permanent full-time position. This opportunity is suitable for both experienced teachers and ambitious ECTs eager to develop within a supportive and forward-thinking Maths department.

The Role

The successful candidate will join a well-established and well-resourced Maths department, teaching across KS3 to KS5. The school is seeking a dynamic classroom practitioner who can inspire students, promote high achievement and contribute positively to the continued success of the department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Maths lessons across KS3, KS4 and KS5

  • Inspire students to develop confidence, resilience and strong problem-solving skills

  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing clear and effective feedback

  • Differentiate lessons to support students of varying abilities and learning needs

  • Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives within Maths

  • Maintain positive classroom environments with high expectations for behaviour and achievement

  • Build strong professional relationships with students, colleagues and parents

  • Support the wider life of the school through enrichment and pastoral contributions

Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or currently completing teacher training

  • Degree in Mathematics or a related subject

  • Passion for Maths and education

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills

  • Ability to motivate and inspire students across all key stages

  • Commitment to raising attainment and supporting student success

  • Collaborative and reflective approach to professional development xwzovoh
