OA are recruiting for a Block Manager to join our client’s dynamic and growing team.
We’re looking for Block Manager who will be responsible for co-ordinating and managing all services and maintenance contracts and to communicate with clients and leaseholders/freeholders in line with contracted management agreement to run and maintain their block/development accordingly
Location: Borehamwood
Hours: Monday – Friday. 9am-5:30pm.
Salary: £35,000-£45,000 – depending on experience

Preparing annual service charge budgetsInsurance claims handlingInspection of sites to ensure the quality of services provided are satisfactory and to identify building repairs in line with health and safety issues.Health & Safety ComplianceCoordinate contractorsLiaise with other team members and departmentsBuilding strong and proactive relationships with your clientsRespond to leasehold enquires in an efficient mannerAttend external meetings as neededBlock Manager Skills and Experience
Strong management and organisational skillsExcellent communication skillsGood attention to detailThe ability to multitaskYou will ideally be IRPM qualifiedKnowledge of property management principles and procedures.Good soft skills when dealing with people to empathise and understand the customers’ needs.Working knowledge of a property management computer system.Working knowledge of windows-based spreadsheets – i.e. ExcelAbility to use Microsoft WordGood written and verbal communication skills.If you are interested in this position, please apply online with your CV.
