About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for two experienced Team Leaders to join one of the UK’s leading and rapidly expanding manufacturers based in Clevedon.
This innovative organisation specialises in advanced manufacturing solutions for microelectronic devices, including semiconductors and display technologies, and is a global leader in environmental technology that reduces harmful emissions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead a team of up to 15 within electrical and mechanical assemblyAct as a first-line decision maker on the shop floorOversee day-to-day manufacturing activitiesEnsure product quality and on-time delivery targets are metSupport, train, and develop team members, including performance reviewsWork closely with the Cell Leader to achieve operational goals What You’ll Be Doing
Driving team performance to meet customer delivery schedulesRunning daily team briefings and setting clear objectivesMotivating and supporting team members to achieve targetsManaging performance and addressing any issues directly
Promoting a culture of continuous improvement across:
Safety
Quality
Delivery
Cost
Identifying production challenges and collaborating with other departmentsLiaising with purchasing and internal stakeholdersEnsuring full compliance with health & safety standards Experience & Skills Required
Minimum 2 years’ experience leading and developing teamsBackground in a make-to-order manufacturing environment
KaizenBill of Materials (BOM)MRP & Kanban systemsStrong understanding of manufacturing processes, including:5S / Housekeeping Lean Manufacturing
Good IT skills (Microsoft Office & Mapics) Qualifications
