IT & Manufacturing Technician
We are recruiting for a hands-on and varied role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position is suited to someone who enjoys a mix of technical troubleshooting, machine operation, and practical hands-on work.
This role combines IT support responsibilities and involvement in day-to-day production activities, including operating specialist laser equipment and supporting remote client systems.
The Role
You will play a key role supporting both the production floor and the companys IT systems, working closely with production, operations, and external IT providers to ensure equipment and systems run efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide IT support across hardware, software, printers, and network systems
- Support production teams with technical issues and equipment setup
- Operate and monitor laser production machinery
- Troubleshoot remote laser systems at customer sites
- Support production scheduling and completion of customer orders
- Assist users with production software and internal systems
- Liaise with external IT support providers when required
- Help maintain efficient day-to-day production operations
Essential Criteria
- Previous IT support or technical support experience
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Desirable
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Familiarity with production systems or laser equipment
- Knowledge of Inkscape, Corel Draw, Photoshop would be advantageous.
- Familiarity of working with QR Codes & URLs
- Basic networking knowledge
