Operations Project Manager (or Coordinator) – Biotech Start-up (London)
I’m working exclusively with an exciting London-based biotech developing proprietary technology used to analyse nanoparticles at the single-particle level. Already used by leading academic and industry labs across Europe and North America, the company is entering a major stage of growth and looking for an operationally minded Project Manager / Coordinator to help keep the business running smoothly as it scales.
This is a highly varied role inside a collaborative, fast moving startup environment. One day might involve coordinating global instrument shipments and suppliers. Another could involve a new product release and roll-out plan, conference planning, grant tracking, procurement, or helping bring structure to internal projects and operations. They’re looking for someone proactive, organised, adaptable, and comfortable taking ownership. Someone who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and helping a growing team operate at a high level.
What They’re Looking For
- Experience in operations, project coordination, logistics, lab operations, or supply chain within a life sciences, biotech, medical device, or technical environment
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple moving parts
- Comfortable working in a startup environment with changing priorities
- Experience coordinating suppliers, procurement, shipping, or operational processes
- Clear communicator with a practical, hands-on mindset
- Familiarity with international shipping, customs, ATA Carnets, RMA processes, or conference logistics is highly beneficial
