Job Description:

Housing Systems Trainer | NEC Housing | Contract – Outside IR35

Are you an experienced Systems Trainer with hands-on knowledge of NEC Housing? We’re looking for a confident, engaging trainer to join a major Housing Systems Transformation Programme and play a pivotal role in two high-profile system go-lives for local government authority.

This is an exciting contract opportunity (outside IR35) for someone who thrives in large-scale implementation environments and knows how to bring users on the journey.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll design, develop, and deliver training across multiple NEC Housing modules including Assets, Housing Advice, Customer Services, Support Services, Go-Mobile, and NEC Document Management. From building user guides and e-learning content to running face-to-face and virtual sessions, you’ll be the go-to expert ensuring staff are confident and ready for go-live.

You’ll also provide floor-walking support during implementation, work closely with project teams and subject matter experts, and continuously refine your approach based on user feedback.

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience delivering systems training in housing, local government, or a similar environment
  • Strong working knowledge of the NEC Housing Solution across multiple modules
  • Experience supporting large-scale system implementations or transformation programmes
  • Ability to conduct training needs analysis
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage users of all digital confidence levels

  • Experience with mobile workforce solutions such as Go-Mobile
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • Understanding of change management and user adoption methodologies

Why this role?

This is a chance to make a real difference in how frontline housing staff work day-to-day. You’ll be embedded in a transformation programme at a critical delivery phase, with the autonomy to shape how training is designed and delivered across the organisation.
