Simmons and Hanbury are exclusively partnered with a leading hedge fund who are seeking a senior employment lawyer to join their top-tier legal team on a short term contract (2-3 months). The role will be covering the notice period of an incoming permanent hire.
Reporting to the General Counsel, the role will help support across all employment matters for the group.
Core Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate executive employment agreements, restrictive covenant arrangements, deferred compensation documentation, and separation agreements
- Oversee employment-related litigation, arbitrations, and agency proceedings, managing outside counsel with a focus on efficiency and outcome optimization
- Contribute to global mobility and cross-border employment initiatives as applicable
