McCann & Braham are running a search for a Talent Acquisition Manager on behalf of a growing energy trading business.
The company is continuing to build out its gas and power trading platform and is looking for a hands on talent acquisition professional to support the next stage of growth.
This is a broad role, working closely with the Head of People to deliver recruitment across trading, risk, finance, operations, technology and corporate functions.
The successful candidate will help build the talent acquisition function, including recruitment systems, direct sourcing capability, reporting, AI tools, supplier management, MSA terms and a Preferred Supplier List.
The ideal candidate will have 5 to 10 years’ recruitment or talent acquisition experience, ideally gained in energy trading, commodity trading, gas and power, financial markets, executive search or another specialist recruitment environment.
The successful candidate will understand the pace and language of a trading environment and be able to engage confidently with commercial, risk, finance and technology stakeholders.
Key responsibilities will include:
Managing end to end recruitment processes
Partnering with hiring managers across the business
Building direct sourcing strategies and talent pipelines
Recruiting across trading, risk, finance, operations and technology
Helping implement recruitment systems, tools and AI capability
Managing external recruitment suppliers
Supporting MSA and PSL development
Improving candidate experience, process and reporting
Providing market mapping, salary insight and competitor intelligence
We are looking for:
5 to 10 years’ recruitment or TA experience
Strong direct sourcing and candidate engagement skills
Experience hiring into specialist or technical markets
Energy, commodities, trading or financial markets exposure
Credibility with senior stakeholders and commercial teams
A practical, organised and delivery focused approach
The ability to build process, not just fill roles
