These campaigns support causes connected to healthcare, humanitarian support, environmental initiatives, and local community programmes.
As our Watford team continues to grow, we’re looking for a motivated Graduate Business Development Trainee who wants to develop practical communication, customer engagement, and business development skills in a fast-paced, people-focused environment.
This opportunity is ideal for a graduate who enjoys speaking with people, is motivated by progression, and wants hands-on experience in face-to-face sales and campaign development.
What the Trainee Programme Involves
This is a structured, in-person training programme focused on communication, customer engagement, and business development through live campaigns and face-to-face interactions.
You’ll learn how to:
• Build rapport and confidence through professional customer conversations
• Present campaign information clearly and accurately
• Support donor acquisitions and campaign growth objectives
• Develop objection-handling and communication techniques
• Understand performance tracking and target-based environments
• Work collaboratively within high-energy team settings
• Gain exposure to leadership development and team support responsibilities
What You’ll Be Doing Daily
• Speaking directly with members of the public in face-to-face environments
• Representing charitable campaigns professionally and confidently
• Explaining campaign goals, initiatives, and donor opportunities clearly
• Supporting customer and donor registrations through compliant processes
• Working toward individual and team performance objectives
• Participating in daily briefings, coaching sessions, and development workshops
