Job Summary:
The Field Service Specialist is responsible for providing customers with safe, accurate and on-time product and service delivery. The Field Service Specialist identifies opportunities to improve service delivery, implements standard work, and manage, risk during service delivery.
Duties include the installation, retrieval, commissioning and maintenance of Cameron Surface Wellhead and Tree Systems as well as ancillary equipment according to company and client procedures. Undertake support activities in an onshore and/or offshore capacity, as required.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Ensure Health, Safety, and Security & Environmental procedures are adhered to.
- Work in a safe & compliant manner following all the relevant procedures.
- Ensure safe, timely and compliant operations at the well site, job location or plant, including rig-up and rig-down of equipment and installation of Cameron Surface products.
- Provide general technical direction and assistance to the customer in the operation, maintenance, repair, logistic support, and installation of Cameron products.
- Participate in job risk analysis and continuous improvement programs.
- Document product and service non-conformances in the field via the Quest & Intouch reporting systems within prescribed timelines.
- Provide Field Service management with complete and prompt information regarding status of programs, customer problems, failures, trends, and climate.
- Provide technical assistance through on-site guidance and training in proper operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of assigned programs and ground support equipment, including the use and proper interpretation of data and technical instructions.
- Demonstrate ongoing commitment to professional development through active participation in the competency management system, ensuring all required assessments are completed to achieve and sustain proficiency level.
- Mentorship, development & guidance of less experienced technicians.
- Submit customer and service reports, timesheets and participate in job debrief.
- Review reported malfunctions and identify/analyze any undesirable trends.
- Complete Digital Field Service Orders (FSO’s)
- Maintain the required safety training.
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years relevant offshore experience desirable.
- Willingness to travel, including potential support for activities outside the UK.
- The desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic business on high-value, technically complex products/projects.
- Ensure all mandatory HSE training is current and up to date.
