Laboratory Assistant

PE Global is currently recruiting for 2 Entry Level Laboratory Assistant for a leading multi-national multinational confectionery, food, holding, beverage and snack food company client based in Wokingham.

This is an initial 6 month contract position until the end of 2026.

Ideal start date as soon as possible.

PAYE pay rate for this position is £13.12 per hour.

Working hours 36 hours per week Mo-Fr 9-5pm.

Duties of the role/Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for all scientific administrative tasks including lab administration, housekeeping activities and working in accordance with laboratory-set quality standards.
• Demonstrate high quality customer service, by ensuring that work is done on time, that the analytical data generated is reliability, and that the results are accurate and provided in a timely manner.
• You will also assist with routine checks/calibrations and control documentation to ensure that only the most current versions are supplied to analysts.
• This role will require you to work at the highest standards of safety and quality, maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment and completing assigned quality actions in a timely manner.

Education/Experience

• Attention to detail, following written instructions and working on multiple activities concurrently.
• Education – A levels, the role doesn’t require university degree.
• Previous lab experience advantageous but this role is a junior level role, training will be provided.
• Accountability, honesty, hardworking, flexibility and adaptability, and working efficiently on a team
• Good written and verbal communication skills
