Senior Estimator

Up to £70,000 (DOE) + £5,000 Car Allowance
An established commercial property and asset management group is looking to appoint a Senior Estimator to join their growing pre-construction team.
This is a strong opportunity for an experienced estimator who is confident pricing commercial, industrial and fit-out projects, with the ability to manage multiple tenders at any one time.
The company has a substantial property portfolio across the UK, with a strong pipeline of commercial and industrial schemes, offering long-term stability and the opportunity to work across a broad range of projects.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for producing detailed estimates and cost plans, interpreting client briefs, reviewing drawings and specifications, liaising with subcontractors and suppliers, and providing pre-construction advice to support project decision-making.
They will be involved from early-stage pricing through to tender submission, helping to ensure projects are accurately costed, commercially viable and aligned with client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Producing detailed estimates, cost plans and tender submissions
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and client briefs
- Pricing commercial, industrial and fit-out projects
- Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain best value
- Carrying out site surveys to support design, pricing and quantifying
- Identifying risk areas and making suitable cost allowances
- Working on multiple projects at any one time
- Providing pre-construction advice to support project decisions
- Working closely with internal teams across design, commercial and delivery
- Ensuring estimates are accurate, compliant and delivered to deadline
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will have experience as an Estimator or Senior Estimator within construction, fit-out, refurbishment, commercial offices or industrial projects.
They will need to be commercially aware, highly organised and confident working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly.
This would suit someone who enjoys being involved at the front end of projects and wants to join a stable, growing business with a strong pipeline of work.
