About the Role
This critical leadership role is responsible for bringing together our global infrastructure and IT operations capabilities into one high‑performing function. You will lead the delivery, resilience, and continuous improvement of enterprise‑wide IT services that support our people, projects, and clients worldwide.
Working closely with senior technology and business stakeholders, you’ll play a key role in shaping a secure, scalable, and future‑ready IT environment while enabling wider digital transformation across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead BuroHappold’s global IT operations and infrastructure function
- Drive operational excellence across cloud platforms, networks, end‑user computing, and core infrastructure services
- Ensure high availability, performance, resilience, and security of enterprise systems
- Partner with cyber‑security, risk, resiliency, and business continuity teams to support a robust technology landscape
- Lead and develop globally distributed infrastructure and operations teams
- Deliver service improvements, automation initiatives, and operational efficiencies
- Support business growth through scalable and reliable technology solutions
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and third‑party partners
- Contribute to the strategic direction of the wider IT function
About You
You are a proven IT operations leader who balances strategic thinking with operational delivery. You thrive in complex global environments and are passionate about building resilient, modern technology services that enable business success.

- Significant leadership experience within global IT operations and infrastructure environments
- Strong technical understanding across enterprise infrastructure, cloud technologies, networking, and service delivery
- Experience managing and developing high‑performing international teams

- A continuous improvement mindset with experience driving operational transformation
- Experience within professional services, consultancy, or similarly complex global organisations is highly advantageous
