This leader drives the technical evaluation stage of the sales process, ensures customer success across all Harness engagements, and partners closely with sales to steer customers toward a commercial relationship.

About The Role

  • Lead, recruit, and grow a high‑performing Sales Engineering team with a servant leadership mindset

  • 4+ years of hands‑on DevOps/Dev sales engineering experience
  • Prior background as a developer or in a deeply developer‑centric DevOps role
  • Strong cloud and infrastructure knowledge — hands‑on experience with tools like Terraform
  • Low ego: comfortable getting hands‑on as a people leader, and would return to an IC role at the right company
  • Strong public speaking skills — you have presented at conferences and are a confident, polished presenter
  • Self‑motivated, resilient, and naturally inclined to solve problems without being asked
  • Works effectively as part of a team, partnering with Sales leadership, Post Sales and other functions to drive business outcomes
