Senior FPGA Design Engineer

This new hybrid FPGA opportunity based in Central London is designed for professionals commuting from Cambridge, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and surrounding areas. It focuses on disruptive technology for sustainability, utilising AI/ML techniques, and requires an experienced FPGA Design Engineer to complement an existing team and bring strong technical expertise to deliver xPU interface solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop high‑speed network interfaces between xPU’s and proprietary networks.
• Define micro‑architecture.
• Perform verification using SystemVerilog or equivalent.
• Deliver trials.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have a relevant degree and strong industry experience.

• Hands‑on industry experience of FPGA design for GPU/CPU interfacing and networking at 100Gbps and above.
• Experience scripting with TCL, Python or similar.
• Preferably additional experience working on embedded systems.
