Assistant Store Manager, Calvin Klein – Bicester Village
Responsible for leading store operations, delivering exceptional customer experience, and driving sales to meet corporate objectives. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and retail management skills.
Responsibilities
- Leading the store teams to generate sales, profit, minimize losses, and create best possible customer experience while ensuring store is visually distinctive.
- Identify opportunities to grow business and improve performance through collaboration.
- Maintain corporate visual merchandising directives and standards for sales floor and back room.
- Work alongside the visual merchandising team to ensure clear communication between VM and store teams.
- Partner with store management team to build on business opportunities and achieve company standards and objectives.
- Focus staff on importance of quality relationships with internal and external customers, ensuring accountability in building a repeat customer base.
- Complete daily/weekly store walkthroughs; evaluate product performance, pricing, staff service levels and inventory levels.
- Communicate to Store Manager what drives sales and discuss issues/priorities to develop strategies to maximize business; ensure weekly visual presentation action plans.
- Analyze store level reports and create action plans to improve results.
- Assist with manpower planning, recruitment, interviewing and hiring processes; recruit store personnel with diverse perspectives.
- Build bench strength for key positions, including possible successors.
- Participate in weekly management meetings and staff meetings.
- Clearly communicate sales goals and performance expectations to staff.
- Provide a great customer journey and achieve exemplary mystery shop results.
Qualifications
- Experience in supervisory or specialist roles within a premium or luxury brand.
- Previous people management experience and ability to resolve conflict effectively.
- Effective communicator with ability to cultivate belonging.
- Collaborative mindset and recognition of team contributions.
- Courageous in giving feedback that promotes positive behavioral change.
- Adaptable and works with pace.
- Energetic presence and trust-building on shop floor.
