What you’ll do

As the Design Director for Argos & Habitat within Sainsbury’s Zest, you will lead a talented team of designers, guiding and mentoring them to create visually compelling concepts for print, digital, social, in‑store, and brand campaigns. You will develop a cohesive visual language across channels, spearhead concepting and execution of design projects, manage internal and external partner collaborations, stay abreast of industry trends, and foster a positive collaborative culture.

Essential criteria

  • Experience in a senior design role within a fast‑paced creative environment.
  • Portfolio demonstrating high‑quality design across multi‑channel campaigns (print, digital, social, in‑store, brand).
  • Proven ability to lead, manage and develop a team of designers to deliver consistent, high‑quality output.
  • Experience defining and implementing visual design language across integrated channels (brand, print, social, digital, in‑store).
